Established in 2016 by Dr. Lubna Shahnaz Umer, PRIDE was initially registered as a sole proprietorship, with its main office in Islamabad. Keeping up with its expanding role and portfolio, PRIDE has been registered as a private limited company – PRIDE CONSULTING (PRIVATE) LIMITED in November 2023, with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under the framework of the Companies Act 2017. PRIDE Consulting provides research and advisory services in a range of areas, to a broad range of stakeholders including all tiers of government, development partners, civil society and academia. It specializes in conducting high quality quantitative and qualitative primary research, in conformity with international ethical standards. It strives to engage and mentor emerging young researchers in promoting culture of research. PRIDE Consulting’s research and advisory services cover a diverse range of areas/ topics, which include labour and employment, poverty and inequality, gender mainstreaming, migration and development, education and skill development, private sector development and project valuation etc. It also designs and delivers trainings in survey design, questionnaire development, developing coding schemes, conducting focused group discussions, trainings in data analysis using STATA, Trainings on Key indicators of Labour Market (KILM) and training in data analysis and report writing.
